Greg has many years experience in the Structural Steel/Ornamental Iron industry. He started in this industry while a teen still in high school with his father Frank Sable. Greg started Sturdi Iron Inc. on July 1, 1997 and has been very successful over the last 19 years. Greg is continually expanding and building the business, starting as a small business out of his home and now has grown to having over 30 employees at the new facility built in Frankfort, IL. He is well known in this industry for his knowledge, experience and over-all customer satisfaction.
Gage is following in his father Greg’s footsteps. He is being groomed by Greg to lead the industry and eventually continue the business in later years. Gage already has 12 years of experience and continues to be a valuable asset. As Vice President, he is responsible for managing project from start to finish, assuring all deadlines are met to the customer’s satisfaction. Gage completed his accounting degree and graduated in December, 2017.
Dan attended the Illinois Institute of Technology and has a Bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering, a minor in architecture, with specialization in construction management. Dan has 16+ years experience in this industry and is also a valuable asset to Sturdi Iron. As a Project Manager, Dan is responsible for managing the project from start to finish, making sure all deadlines are met to the customer’s satisfaction.
Victor has many years experience in this industry. As a detailer, he is responsible for interpreting construction documents, field measuring site conditions, and creating shop drawings.
Danny started with Sturdi Iron July 24th 2017 as an project estimator. Danny is also responsible for the aerial photography for many of our projects. He has become an asset to Sturdi Iron each and every day. Danny has a financial and information systems educational background and has been able to jump right into the Sturdi Iron team.
Ray is responsible for managing all aspects of the shop and ensuring that the shop runs smoothly and on time
Christopher came to Sturdi Iron in September of 2019 as an apprentice estimator. Christopher comes with experience and knowledge from various fields that has led him to the world of steel fabrication. He is looking forward to becoming a productive and invaluable member of the Sturdi Iron family.
